Will a marquee be suitable for my event?

Our marquees can be erected on most surfaces although a site visit will be necessary as this gives us the opportunity to discuss your exact requirements.

Can we have a marquee in the winter?

Yes, our marquees are 100% waterproof and are as comfortable in the winter as they are in the summer. With the use of thermostatic controlled duct heating you can maintain a constant temperature whatever the weather is like outside. Wooden floors and glazed doors can also be used if required.

Can your marquees be connected to the house?

Yes, we can either connect directly to the building using our unique guttering system or we can provide a covered walkway that leads into the main marquee area.

Will there be any damage to my property or lawn?

Whenever we are erecting or dismantling a marquee we will take great care of your property. We will need to be informed of any services that may run under the proposed site. Your lawn may be discoloured after removal of the equipment but it will recover.

Does it matter if my garden has a slope?

A slight slope is nothing to worry about. A more pronounced slope is not a problem for the marquee structure but may be uncomfortable for guests, especially at a seated event. We work in association with a very reputable staging company who can level out more serious slopes so that you have a perfectly flat surface for the marquee to be erected on.

What happens if something goes wrong during the event?

We have a 24-hour help line to assist you before and during the hire period. Though rarely used, we also operate a free emergency call out service to quickly rectify any problems that occur.

What about insurance?

We provide public liability insurance and equipment cover. However you are responsible for the marquee during the hire period. Any malicious damage or missing equipment will be billed to you.

Do we need a generator?

Marquee lighting, heating and music do not require much power and therefore a generator is not normally required.

Do we need a heater?

In the summer months a heater would not be required. For winter jobs we provide a warm air ducted heating system that is thermostatically controlled.

Can we roll up the walls?

The marquees walls are hung on rails and can be drawn back and forth exactly like curtains.

Do you offer a catering service?

No, but we have a number of reliable catering companies that we have worked closely with over the last few years and would be happy to give you their contact details.

How far will you travel?

We are based in Walsall in the West Midlands, approximately 6 miles from Birmingham city centre, giving us good access to all the major motorway networks. We generally cover about a 40 mile radius however we do travel further afield and would be happy to discuss your requirements wherever your location.
